    Funny Video Fridays

Friday, November 21, 2008, 10:48 AM PST [General]

The weekend is upon us and I thought it might be a nice lead into the weekend to start featuring funny videos on Fridays.  The first installment of funny video Fridays comes from Journey.  This video for Separate Ways (worlds apart) is perhaps the best kind of funny because the comedy is totally unintentional.  I am sure that Steve Perry and the crew thought that this video was important and cutting edge, the benefit of time however allows to realize that really it is just absurd and hysterical.  Get ready to experience a laugh out loud combo of air instrument playing, mullets and moustaches!

    New Gnarls?

Tuesday, November 11, 2008, 12:25 PM PST [General]

The Internets are a buzz after the youtube release of this video:

Several days before it's mystery release on YouTube GB's lead singer Cee-Lo told some press that GB was in the studio recording a new album, the question is whether Mystery Man is a b-side or the first single from the new album.  Either way the video is awesome so check it out!

    The Week of T.I.

Wednesday, October 15, 2008, 01:23 PM PST [General]

T.I. has taken over the top position in three different categories over at Billboard magazine this week.  His album "Paper Trail" is currently #1 on the Billboard 200, and he holds  #1 singles in the Digital and R&B/Hip Hop charts with two different tracks!  Besides blowing up the charts T.I. is busy with his MTV reality series set to air in 2009.  The show apparently follows the Atlanta rapper as he finishes his court ordered 1,000 hours of community service and gets ready to sit in jail for a mandatory one year sentence.  The uncharacteristically light sentence for a man convicted of possession and purchase of unregistered machine guns and silencers as well as possession of firearms by a convicted felon has fueled the rumor mills about how T.I. got such favorable treatment. You can read more about the T.I. case and see his mugshot here.   If you want to check out his current chart toppers here they are:

    1) Live your Life, #1 Digital

    2) Whatever You Like, #1 R&B/HipHop
